Inscription

Inscription is the smallest category of all the crafting skills, having only four items. The most important use of this skill is for those with the Witchblood background. Inscription is needed to make spell scrolls and copy spells from spell scrolls into grimoires. This skill is also companion skill for Alchemy, since it is with this skill that you can copy books and alchemy recipes.

Copying

To copy a book, you must have a blank book in your pack. First, double-click a scribe’s quill (made with Tinkering), then click the book you wish to copy, and then click the blank book. It is the same process for copying alchemy recipies. You must have a blank scroll in your pack to copy the recipe onto.

Inscription is also used to copy magic scrolls and formula. Thus, the skill can prove critical to mages, and somewhat useful to general businessmen looking to make a little extra money on the side. Formulas and scrolls are known to exist, but very few have yet to be found.

Getting Started

As stated above, this is a good companion skill to Alchemy. This should not be taken as a primary skill. You do not start out with a scribes quill, so your going to want to get a hold of one of those.
