Common Commands

.skill <skill> notify

  • Allows you to use skills without having to wait for the usual cooldown imposed by UseSkill macros (although internal skill cooldown times still apply.
  • Add the word ‘notify’ to the end of the command to be notified when you are once more able to use that skill.

.online

  • Shows a list of characters currently online.
  • You may remove yourself from this list by doing .namelisted off.
  • You may return to the list by doing .namelisted on.

.msg

  • Used to message other characters. OOC conversations only.
  • Do not use .msg to metagame.
  • You may remove your name from the .msg list by typing .msg off.
  • You may return to the list by typing .msg on.
  • You may see your messages by typing .msg sent.

.reply

  • Used to reply to the person who last sent you a message.
  • You reply to people who have their .msg turned off.

.skills

  • Brings up a skill gump rather than using the paper doll gump.

.xps

  • See how many XP you have and what you can do with them.
  • Use this menu to spend your XP.

.readyitem <itemname>

  • Character stores an item under a particular name.
  • Purpose: set the item ‘ready to be used’.
  • Note: click on self to remove all prior items from readied list.

.equipreadied <itemname>

  • Character equips an item stored under a particular name.
  • Purpose: allow characters to have multiple types of weapons they can prepare with emotes. (*pulls out his axe*, *pulls out his sword*, etc).
  • Note: will work on ANY item of that type, but only in the character’s top-level pack.

.loot

  • Character loots items selected from nearby corpses or off the ground.
  • Use .loot help to read the possible items to add.
  • Use .loot add <itemname> to add it to your loot list, and .loot del <itemname> to remove it. (.loot view can be used to manually remove itemnames)
  • .loot add all will make you loot every item in range, can be used to pick up invisible crafting items.

.usereadied <itemname>

  • Character uses an item stored under a particular name.
  • Purpose: use an item without having to click it.

.enterwar

  • Character enters war mode.
  • Purpose: allow characters whose icons do not change (animal forms, mounted) to be sure they are in war mode. Also allows joining emote to entering war mode (*lets out a war whoop*).

.exitwar

  • Character exits war mode.
  • Purpose: as “.enterwar”.

.lookat

  • Character looks at the description upon a person or object.
  • Purpose: see or set detailed descriptions of yourself, characters, and objects. Use on yourself to set your own description. Crafters can add details to crafted weapons, clothing, etc if they have it in their possession, by .lookat and targetting the item.
  • Note: to look at another person’s equipment, .lookat them and select “Equipment”. A checkbox beside the name of an item denotes a description has been set for it.

.lookup

  • Character looks at the description of the sky and weather
  • Purpose: allows you to know if its raining, sunny, night, or day.

.pcaction <action>

  • Character takes an action. Only usable by human graphics.
  • Purpose: allow characters to join actions to emotes (*throws a punch*)

  16. Attack crossbow.
  17. Walk in warmode.
  18. Spellcasting direction.
  19. Spellcasting area (hands to the heavens).
  20. Get hit.
  21. Fall backward.
  22. Fall forward.
  23. Mounted walk.
  24. Mounted run.
  25. Dismount.
  26. Mounted attack (left arm).
  27. Mounted attack (bow).
  28. Mounted attack (spear).
  29. Mounted attack (right arm).
  30. Dodge.
  31. Attack fist.

  34. Eat.

.subdue

  • Allows a player to hold another still on the ground, as long as the victim is feeling very weak.
  • If the dominant character moves away, the victim is released.
  • Use .subdue to release your victim.
  • The victim will also release itself if it is allowed to regenerate.
  • Includes checks for some backgrounds: Resilient, Explosive and Energetic.
  • It can be used on corpses of player characters. That way, when the character regains consciousness, he or she will be immediately subdued.

.whisper <text>

  • Works in the same way as a normal whisper, but allows you to do it while hidden, without getting revealed.

.help <topic>

  • Character sees help on the topic. Use blank topic for a listing of the supported topics.

.hairstyle

  • Allows you to change your hairstyle.

.beardstyle

  • Allows you to change your beard.

Craft Commands

.craftinfo [item]

Used by itself, displays a gump with all crafting skills. Click one of them to get a gump with the items you can craft with that skill. Select an item to see detailed information about crafting it. This command can also be used followed by a crafting skill (.craftinfo tailoring) or by a particular item (.craftinfo skirt).

.craft <itemname> [care]

Begins crafting that item. The item name can also be followed by the word ‘care’ (.craft skirt care). This allows for more chance of success, and better quality, but also spends more materials. To mastercraft, you must use care.

.dismantle

Target an item, you attempt to salvage some of the materials used to make the item. Requires the tools and skills used to make that type of item.

.repair

Target an item and attempt to repair the item’s durability. Requires the tools and skills used to make that type of item. Low skill may result in damage to the item.

.mctimer

See the time until your next MC item can be made.

.nameitem

Name an item you’ve crafted. Item must be exceptional quality. Uses cut gems.

.setcraftpack

Crafted items will go into selected pack/container.

.mining

Start a mining crafting session.

.minefor

Mine for a selected ore when mining. Can also be used: .minefor SpecificOre (eg. IronOre - Capitals needed)

.setminepack

Mined ore will go into the selected pack/container.

.alchemy

Start an alchemy crafting session.

.blacksmithy

Start a blacksmithy crafting session.

.bowcraft

Start a bowcrafting session.

.carpentry

Start a carpentry crafting session.

.cooking

Start a cooking crafting session.

.lumberjacking

Start a lumberjacking crafting session.

.inscription

Does not exist. Double-click a quill to begin an inscription session.

.tailoring

Start a tailoring crafting session.

.tinkering

Start a tinkering crafting session.

Alchemy & Magic Commands

.forage

Using Alchemy you search for reagents.

.foragefor

Forage for a selected reagent using the .forage command.

.setforagepack

Foraged reagents will go into selected pack/container.

.obscure

Select a potion to remove the name, making it “a strange mixture.”

.tasteid

Use on “a strange mixture” to determine the kind of potion.

.label

Add a label to a potion.

.forgetspell

Release a spell from your memory in order to make room to memorize another.

.myschools

Lists the schools to which you belong. Also used to relearn all your tier 1 spells.

.myspecialization

Use to specialize in your known schools.

.readysoul

Conjuration only. Selects a summon without using the gump. .readysoul off to disable.

.myspells

Lists the spells which you know.

.schoolinfo <school name>

Gives you information on a school. You may enter the name of the school, or leave it blank to choose from a list.

.spell <spell name> [options]

You cast the given spell. If you do not specify a spell, you may choose it from a list of your known spells. Options will allow you to cast a spell for greater effect, or more quickly, or without using material components, etc., usually at an increase in the casting difficulty and mana cost.

.spellinfo <spell name>

Gives you information on a spell that you know. You may enter the name of the spell, or leave it blank to choose from a list.

.learnoption <spell name> [option]

Used to memorize an option for the selected spell, allowing you to cast the spell with that option. Lack of memorization points may make this command fail.

City Commands

.rulers

Lists the current rulers of a city and the player guardsmen.

.criminalflag

Ruler only, changes the criminal flag of a person in your town.

.housesign

Ruler only. Create a static house in your town.

.town

Ruler and guard. Used to pull up the town menu gump.

Decorating

.decorate

Brings up a menu that allows a house owner to move items in the X,Y, or Z direction. Also used to re-deed sets and move sets as single items.

.flip

Used to change the orientation of certain items such as chairs, paintings, dressers, etc. Not all items have a mirrored image.

.lockdown

Lock down or release items within your house. Must be an owner or co-owner.

.secure

Secure a container. You are only allowed a limited number of secure items. Make sure the container you secure is EMPTY before you secure or unsecure it, otherwise the contents of the container get scattered, sometimes beyond what you can see.

Other Dot Commands

.boardboat

Board target boat. Used when unable to naturally get on board. You must be the owner or co-owner of the boat.

.discreetsearch

Similar to regularly using the Search skill, but prompts you to reveal each target instead of just naturally revealing them.

.examinegarb

Lists a target’s equipment, along with it’s .lookat descriptions.

.fixme

Corrects any graphic bugs about your char, like Orks missing their Ork mask.

.motd

Read the Message of the Day.

.nobleborn

Checks if you can get your daily money, runs on login as well. In case you’ve been online for 24 hrs.

.obscure

Remove the label from a potion or formula.

.password

Set your account’s password.

.pd

Open your paperdoll.

.pdon

Open another person’s paperdoll.

.rage

Temporarily increases your strength at the cost of your dexterity. Duration depends on WillPower skill.

.snoop

Snoop into a target’s pack. Same as using from skill gump.

.steal

Attempt to steal from a mark. Same as using from skill gump.

.stuck

Use this if stuck, works in most ciurcumstances, but not when stuck on ladders.

.switchidentity

Used with dual identity to switch names. If you are in town, make sure you are hidden before switching identities less a rumor be generated.

.tame

Attempt to tame an animal. Same as using from skill gump.

.track

Fits into the Tracking system, but works with a target. You pick a target in your sight and follow that target around everywhere, including caves and towns.

.where

our location, X,Y,Z and name of location.
