If you have not installed Ultima Online yet, you can get a copy from here. After the installation, make sure you do not patch the client at all (Stay away from uo.exe and uopatch.exe) then proceed to the next step of installing the Dark Age II files.

1. Download the full file set from our Downloads page.
2. Run the downloaded full.exe file and enter the path of your UO directory, then click install.

If you are asked to overwrite old files, click OK.

If you are a Windows XP or Vista user and have any problems running UO after installing the DA2 files:

1. Ask in IRC (Most players are able to troubleshoot with almost any issue UO can throw at them)
2. Uninstall UO
3. Reinstall to a new directory
4. Disable UAC in Windows 7 and Vista

For Windows XP/Vista users only:

1. Try this: Dark Age Cacls Fix - Remember to right click and run as Administrator
2. Simply run the program, select the correct OS (Vista/XP) and browse for your UO folder, then click START.
3. You’ll see a command window pop up and loads of writing fly by, once it’s gone again you’re done!
