====== Before You Start Playing... ======

Before you can apply, you need to read the rules. The staff and players have put a lot of time and effort into Dark Age II. We're all here to have fun in the world we've created. We are a **roleplay** shard, to play here, you **have** to roleplay. We may even stipulate you have to roleplay **well**, the definition of such too ambiguous to explain, and ultimatly up to staff discretion. For the most part, as long as you stay in character, you'll never run into problems with the staff.

Once you've read the rules and understand why we're all here and what you can expect from the staff, and what we expect from you, you can apply. Its suggested you read over the [[starting:guidelines|application guidelines]] before you begin so you can get a preview of what type of applications we're looking for.
