534 - A violent typhoon hits Denshy, killing many and destroying much. After the brunt of the storm passes, the sky still remains dark and rainy.
535 - Lord Maarken Calador returns from Mercia and reclaims the Duchy. Catastrophe at the Jaded Withdraw, causing night to merge with day as full darkness, with the release of Maguun’s Avatar. The Priory abandons the Jaded Withdraw.

Regicide. Throughout Mercia, Medici, Portcross and Andal, the long-rooted seeds of Maguun begin sprouting. Assassination of the noble families. Many families, however, go missing - such as Calador, Van’Graden, Darkel, Trevelyan and Greyflame, and their manors and estates were sacked and burned.
After the news of civil war and mayhem in the Old Capital, the Van’Gradens in Denshy aid in the fortification of Larani’s Blessing.
Last stand of Myra, Larani, Haelyn and Barach - the divinities relay their powers to the ones they see the most fit to apply them at Judgement Day. The final day arrives. Simultaneous sieges on Larani’s Blessing, Mala’tal’s Necropolis, Khalag and Denshy. Above and under ground, the Chaos Armies lay heavier siege on the Laranian fortress, defended above by the Priory and under by Mala’tal’s legions.
Larani’s Blessing falls not long after the beginning of the siege. The Priory recoils to the Obelisk’s chambers, where rumours have it that Nael himself protected the Obelisk. After battle between the coalition and the Chaos Armies, Nicholas Durai, Avatar of Maguun, engages in terrible battle with Nael himself. The Priory is sent to the Jaded Withdraw to retrieve the Scrolls of Yyv’esh.
The last Obelisk falls, and Mala’tal’s Kingdom closes around itself. Unleashed, the demonic hordes of the Chaos Legions soon take over Denshy, despite the resistance of the defenders led by Evans Reynard, Zachary Summerset, Reinhart Tradnor and Kroth the Ork.
The Priory retrieves the Scrolls of Yyv’esh, but at a cost - Seldorn Toiverna falls, victorious, in solo battle against Maguun’s Dark Prophet, Machillenarius.
Exile from Denshy, led by Alister Guinan and Evans Reynard. The whole of the survivors heads to an already under siege Miraj, in the desert, to perform the Ritual written in the Scrolls of Yyv’esh.
In a battle that would forever be remembered as epic and valiant, Men fought alongside Drakkin and Orks to prevent the Chaos Legions from interrupting the ritual performed by Priors and Liches from the South. At the eleventh hour, the Undead Armies of Zeal marched over Miraj, led by Sage Na’Krul and the noctii Lorrosain and Delia, Seldorn Toiverna’s ex-fiancee. The wall of skulls and corpses, aswell as the heroic effort of the defenders, allowed the ritual to be completed.
Morning came again as the sun rose in the East. Maguun had been sealed in the Outer Chaos. But so had Larani, Barach, Myra and Haelyn.
537-539 - In light of massive exodus from the fallen kingdom of Mercia, Denshy is rebuilt and refortified, far stronger than before; henceforth it is considered one of the great Cities of man, no longer a colony. Captain Roland of the Guard takes control of the military and uses it to install martial law in Denshy.
539 - The Van’Graden Debacle. Without a King to bow to, many - under the guidance of the necromancer Na’Krul - turn to Mala’tal to lead them into a new age. They are cast out of the city. Captain Roland is assassinated and the District leaders of Denshy vote to have Saeros as Interim Ruler of the city until peace between the districts can be found.
539 - The White City of Aurelia, revealed by the changing masses of Eridan, is conquered and liberated from the Gazers by a Denshian force led by Cyrus Dorthorin and Evans Reynard.
539 - Reinhart Tradnor is named first Duke of the Free City of Denshy.
540 - Zalm, renegade magi of the Priory, frees himself from his prison within the Jaded Withdraw and exposes Denshy to the Mizrahi Plague. It is cured, but in the end his aims have, again, irrevocably changed the face of Eridan: this time via the very nature of the World Weave itself.
540 - Laikros the Defiler, prince of the Dark Lorilee, freed from his prison beneath the earth. Denshy sees to his demise under the guidance of Maarken Calador and Arianna Locke, and in return the Lorilee of the Ceath’en Isles finally open their borders to humanity.
540 - Twists in the Weave lead to the brief exile of Eridan’s witchblooded to the North. Their return brings the beginning of strange events related to unleashed chaos. Instability in the Weave after these twists that led to the witchblooded’s exile is blamed for this. Whispers against the magi that stir such instability begin rising.
541 - Political tension between Denshy and Aurelia escalates to near-war. The ruler of Aurelia, the Morverc’h Aduesti Ili Lleorithdil, is rumored to be hiring the services of the mercenaries Adonai Rome, Astoc d’Marseau, Retu d’Viere and therians.
541 - Denshy finally sieges Aurelia after rumors of wrongdoing escalate into full-on raids on the Duchy. After several hours of fierce combat at the walls, the invading forces of Denshy take over the White Walls, and soon afterwards the City falls to northern hands. Aduesti Ili Lleorithdil escapes with his life.
541 - Mere days after the news of victory reach the Duke’s ears, he is murdered by the Lich Lucifumo Sitheros (alias Na’Krul) in the Black Cells of Denshy.
541 - Following a successful attack on Larani’s Bastion, Sir Davican, mad general of the Order of Mercianus and its fallen Laranians, recalls the entire Order with intent of laying siege to Denshy.
541 - Mala’tal’s Kingdom of Zeal, emboldened and much reinforced by soldiers and necromancers from an alliance with Graycastle, declares war on the Duchy of Eridan. Denshy finds itself, by this time, besieged on all sides.
541 - Disaster strikes Mala’tal’s alliance as the necromantic order of the Circle breaks ties with Mala’tal in favor of a separate alliance with Graycastle. Mala’tal withdraws into Dudurel, and his war effort is halted seemingly in its tracks.
542 - Davican’s southern fleets are, in turn, smashed by expeditionary forces of Denshy, as others withdraw into the northwest in silence.
542 - The Bisphoric of Coventry declares war on the city of Graycastle. Fearing Coventry’s expanionistic attitude, The Federation of the Rhine joins the war on the side of Graycastle, while Tradnor declares for Coventry. Coventry ceases sending any fresh men to Eridan.
542 - The Kingdom of Denshy falls apart when its leaders - Queen Jazani Tradnor and Lord Trey Calador - are accused of crimes and flee the city. They are later reported dead in a shipwreck, but it is Arianna Guinan-Locke, daughter of former governor Troy Locke and adoptive child of Lord Alister Guinan, who takes power as a Lady Regent.
543 - Davican’s forces break into the fallen Zealan city of Opharon in the northwest, now overrun by demons. It is thought that Davican’s goal in this was to become possessed and joined with a powerful demonic entity which he could use to name himself Larani reborn. However, this attempt is foiled by a coalition army led by the Regency of Denshy: men meet the Order of Mercianus on the battlefield and, ultimately, smash it to ruin. This marks the end of the Laranian Order, and any real Laranian influence on Eridan.
543 - Lady Regent Arianna Guinan-Locke falls gravely ill and has to be sailed to Coventry to search for a cure. In the meantime, Lord Maarken Calador is placed in administrative control of Denshy.
543 - Not long after the Lady Regent Arianna Guinan-Locke absence, a mercenary company named “Band of the Bear”, under control of Captain Ddaeryko, made a move to claim the city. Lord Maarken Calador put up no resistance and quietly left Denshy. Ddaeryko assumed the title Lord Protector of Denshy.
544 - During a siege by Zealan forces Lord Ddaeryko fled from Eridan. Sir Eidan Achton assumed control of Denshy, naming himself Duke of Northern Eridan at the will of the people with Jenna Reyne as Seneschal.
544 - The gods chose three citizens of Eridan to act as their Oracles, which speak with the associated saints. Jenna Reyne was named Oracle of Jeidali while Dumgar Walters was named Oracle of Valar and Lathander Merinthire became the Oracle of Balaur.
544 - Jenna Reyne resigned as Seneschal, and Duke Achton created a Senate composed of 5 chairs to manage the powers and responsibilities traditionally accorded to the Seneschal.
545 - Men and women from across Eridan united to storm Opharon, the former City of White, where the Hunter of Sleep Krasula had taken residence. Led by the Oracle of Balaur, Lathander Merinthire, they fought their way valiantly through demons and fire eaters to the Godstone. Once inside, a fearsome battle raged until the Gytevsha was felled. With his death Krasula brought an ominous warning of something yet to come larger than he or any of the gathered there, though made no specifications as to what. In his place, a Sa’dara rose, an ancient relic with a purpose unknown.
546 - Eidan Achton steps down as Duke of Denshy after a tumultuous two year rule. His rulership was handed to his official senate. Initially, this senate was made up of Georg Atriedes, Alexis de Ravin, Elias Goddard, Achton himself, and Achton’s former partner Lady Ilonka Thorne at its head. As months pass Atriedes leaves the mainland and Achton withdraws from politics to tend to his most recent partner and family. Sir James Darkel and Oracle Lathander Merinthire are brought onto the Senate to replace them.
546 - After a lull, and what was later deemed due to lack of action by the Senate in Denshy‘s name, James Darkel steps up and challenges Lady Thorne’s rule with the backing of various individuals. This including the Dorthorins Count Cyrus and Countess Araina, and the Silverwoods Kaganos and Castalea of Aurelia, Master Jadan Saati, Oracle Merinthire and Lord Everhardt. The takeover is peaceful and results in Darkel claiming title as Duke of Denshy.
546 - The Dorthorins retire from their long-held position in Aurelia and hand over to the Silverwoods. Cyrus remains in a official Admirality position in Aurelia, but not that long after their appointment the Count and Countess Silverwood both depart to the mainland. As such, the Dorthorins resume their position in Aurelia once more.
547 - Creatures never seen before, soon called Cuapans by the residents of Eridan, begin to spring up in various places around Eridan, launching attacks against human settlements. They’re seen to work with the demon Sjloctys.
548 - His rule hampered by sickness, problems within the family, and growing resentment in Crioch Guinan, James initially attempts to appease the people by leaving his wife Gwirawen in control, but the obstacles prove too much for the once-proud family, and eventually the Darkels abandon Eridan and Denshy, leaving the Oracle of Balaur, Lathander Merinthire to claim the Duchy.
548 - Rumors of tribal unrest and new leadership in Abdijan finds it’s way to Denshy as non-natives flee the jungle. Aurelia, the City of White is repeatedly sieged by Noyakin armies, and Aurelian refugees begin to trickle into Denshy. Scouts and travelers report of a new settlement being built in the Golden Forest.
548 - The city in the Golden Forrest is finished and becomes known across Eridan as Barbican. Barbican leader Jemhara Devlin offers to meet with the Duke of Denshy to form a treaty between the cities. A few weeks later Jemhara Devlin pronounces himself King of the West Eridanic Kingdom.
548 - The De Ravin family leads a combined army against Barbican. Alexis de Ravin is named ruler of the city, which is renamed Gildamyre.
548 - Amidst many rumors of demon worshiping, and consorting with Nocti, Duke Merinthire steps down and hands the city to Lord Ambrose Silverwood. Steward Silverwood accepts the temporary position until a new Duke can be found. The former Duke, Oracle Merinthire is then assassinated in the middle of mass by Soren Bedoe.
548 - Steward Silverwood calls a meeting of the district leaders. They gather to cast a vote on the new leader of Denshy. After a long deliberation, Garamonde Aldonis is pronounced Duke.
549 - The pressure of ruling became too much for Duke Aldonis, so Oracle Jenna Reyne persuaded him to step down from his position and relinquish it to her.
549 - After Oracle Reyne led a detachment of volunteers to siege Dudurel, Gregor Leonhart and his supporters approached Jenna and made it clear they would not support her. They demanded that she step down, and she was more than happy to oblige, making Gregor the new ruler of Denshy.
