The Saints of Power are those mortals, like Balaur, who devoted their lives to the Path of Power. In doing so, they brought their lives closer to the concept of perfection that brings salvation and paradise. Through purification of their own souls they have ascended into the realm of Yashain where they continue to help those of Terra to adhere to the principles of power that may one day return paradise to Yashain, Terra, and all of the universe.
Lance of Power,
Bastion of Freedom,
Lord of Rogue-Knights.
Bedocke is the Lord of Rogue-Knights in whose domain lies worldly fame and freedom from the chains of brotherhood. He is represented as an iconic knight atop a mighty steed that tramples the corpse of a dragon. In his hand is a giant lance, a sign of his great power and strength. Bedocke is prayed to by warriors and champions who seek fame and power. His greatest reward is that of freedom and power, that a man be set free from bondage that would otherwise prevent the pursuit of personal perfection.
Born into bondage as a servant to the ruling family of Dudurel, Bedocke revealed himself as one of the greatest warriors history has ever seen. As word of his merit and strength grew throughout the lands of Dudurel, Bedocke demanded his freedom from his Master less he claim it himself. When the master refused, Bedocke wasted not a moment to slay the man and leave the lands of Dudurel. In the years that followed numerous men tried to claim Bedocke’s life, yet to no avail. He became a symbol of rogue-knights and those that would claim their own freedom from bondage.
The greatest of his accomplishments is said to be slaying a great beast of drake. Black as the night sky, their combat is one bards speak of in fantastic tale and legend. For the rest of his life, Bedocke was seen as the greatest champion that walked the earth. To speak his name was power. To witness his figure was to know worldly perfection. Word of his power lead many others to follow in his and Balaur’s footsteps. None doubted Bedocke’s strength or his desire to be the strongest and for this he is known to have ascended into the realm of Yashain in the mighty host of Balaur where he looks down upon man and offers his strength and aid to those that would deservingly ask his aid.
Lady of the Dead,
Catcher of Souls,
The Black Mistress.
Tyria is the Black Mistress in whose domain lies the shadows of death and the souls of weak men. She is often represented as a slender and meek woman of pale skin and long black locks draped in violet and black gowns. Her face is not wicked, but sorrowful, veiled behind a mesh of black. Tyria is prayed to by those facing death or looking to serve out death. Her greatest gift is that of renewed life, to live through great hardship and survive above all others.
Tyria was the sorrowful daughter of a Zealan Emperor rumored to bear witness to the passing of dying souls. The great judge, she saw in each man’s passing the mediocrity of their lives and the frailty that existed in mankind. Pained by her gift, she became reclusive and burdened with tears. Even more, she was plagued by visions of the failure of her father, a weak ruler of a weaker bloodline. Half out of pity, half out of love, she poisoned her father that he not shame himself further. It is said by forcing him to pass, she saved his and her soul from damnation for the weakness Balaur saw in them.
Quickly put to death afterwards, Tyria became a sign of martyrdom in the Church of Power. She was able to see the imperfection in herself and her father and her inability to change the course of her fate. In doing so, she resigned herself to early death as not to shame her own name or let her father shame himself further. In her act of compassion, she ascended into the realm of Yashain in the mighty host of Balaur. It is from her seat in Yashain that she directs assassins to their targets that men may prove their own strength, but also prevent men from burdening others further.
Lord of Greed,
Master of Coin,
The Merchant Fiend.
Tivulvio is the Merchant Fiend in whose domain lies the merchant’s coin and ambition. He is often represented as a slenderly dressed man with slick combed hair and ostentatious jewelry and velvet clothing decorating an otherwise meager body. Close in hand is the merchant’s coin, said to be the single coin he used to earn his fortune. Tivulvio is prayed to by merchants and businessmen who seek wealth and power. His greatest gift is that of good fortune, but also the ill-fortune of others.
Tivulvio was born a pauper with an insatiable desire for wealth. It is said that from a single coin he created a fortune, rising from the slums to become one of the most influential merchants in history. At the height of his power, Tivulvio ruled the city of Napeli and saw commerce and wealth flood the city. No one dared to question him nor underestimate his willingness to stay in power. A devote of the Path of Power, Tivulvio used his wealth to further his own goals and the goals of the Church of Power. Napeli became a stronghold for men seeking fortune and fame attracting all forms of rogue-knights and mercenaries.
Under Tivulvio, the influence of Napeli spread across the nearby cities. Swallowed in its power, Napeli was at a time associated more with wealth and prosperity than Aurelia. It is for his shrewd skill as a merchant and ruler that Tivulvio is recognized as a Saint of Power, now ascended into the realm of Yashain in the mighty host of Balaur. He acts as a model for all merchants who wish success and fame, to work without tire and push for self-perfection.

The Great Entertainer,
The Last Laugh,
Master of Indignity.
Hyaptus is the Master of Indignity of whose domain is all things which prey on the failure’s of men and the foolishness of their actions. Where other Saints of Power are concerned with power and wealth, Hyaptus is concerned with making a fool of himself, but more so, making a fool out of others. Hyaptus is often depicted as a young man garbed in the gaudiest of red, hands raised in the air with an awkward smile upon his face. Atop his head is a crown and beneath his feet are men on all fours. Hyaptus is concerned with all forms of humor, pranks, and jokes. His eccentric behavior as a mortal was the butt of all jokes, but it is he who laughed more at society and pointed out its flaws. Hyaptus is prayed to by entertainers and others, if only because a deliberate disrespect of him leads one to be the center of a popular joke.
Hyaptus was once a great scholar who followed the Path of Wisdom, yet in learning the world and striving to attain enlightenment he found something entirely unexpected - the pitiful nature of mankind. From the depths of epiphany Hyaptus turned away from harmony and perfection and dedicated his years to making a fool out of those men and rulers who would think themselves wise. He would build up nobles only to see them topple, champion the cause of knights only to make fools of them later. Through all his years, he belittled the rest of mankind that they all knew they were beyond perfection. Yet, of all people, he belittled himself the most. Always aware of his own flaws, Hyaptus followed a route of self-perfection otherwise untread. It was his understanding that to reach perfection, one must be painfully aware of his every flaw.
Hyaptus revealed to the world the mediocrity that plagued society, the weakness of brotherhood and helping the imperfect survive, and the foolishness of utopia where wisdom is put above physical perfection so that a beast may trample a kingdom to the ground. From his great understanding of the need for self-perfection and his attempt to champion its cause, in an all be it round-about manner, Hyaptus came to be seen as one of the greatest philosophers and followers of the Path of Strength. He now resides in the realm of Yashain, looking down upon mankind, whispering into the ears of fools always to have them remind great kings and knights that they are the greatest fools of all.
