Jeidali, The Wise

The Orb of Wisdom,
Host of Wonders,
Lord of Enlightenment,
The Keeper of Balance.

Jeidali is Lord of the Path of Wisdom, the truly divine of the three brothers who resides in Yashain above all Saints and Guardians. It was he that heard the true path from his Father, he that knows the route to salvation, and he that will bring paradise to the universe once more.

Jeidali is depicted as an enlightened man armored in silver platemail, his shoulders draped with a long flowing cloak of blue. In both hands he cups the Orbit of Talos depicting the movements of Terra, the stars, the moons, and all heavenly bodies. His plate helm is adorned with wings symbolizing the flight of knowledge and the unknown.

Jeidali is seen as the pinnacle of wisdom. A scientist, astronomer, and philosopher, he dedicated his life towards pursuing harmony and balance as the route to salvation. Through unlocking the secrets of the universe and holding balance above all else as the key to paradise, he helps others down the Path of Wisdom so they too may find enlightenment and ascend into the domain of Yashain.

Theological Mission

Followers of the Path of Wisdom view enlightenment, harmony, and balance as the roots of salvation. Guardians and priests in particular are held to high standards of human patients and wisdom. Adherents of the Path of Wisdom see their Path as the True Path where as the paths of Fealty and Power lead to damnation. It is the goal of all followers of Jeidali to see salvation and paradise returned to Terra by practicing unity through harmony – working towards a perfect balance of the heavens and Terra, body and mind.

Social Mission

The church of Jeidali offers a source of wisdom, balance, and salvation to those whose lives are filled with the quest for knowledge and harmony. Jeidians have traditionally come from the ranks of scholars, though it is not limited to just those seeking enlightenment. Artists, musicians, and craftsmen are also often members of the Path of Wisdom.

The priesthood and guardian orders of Jeidali stand as separate entities. The priesthood acts as the source of Jeidali’s voice on Terra while guardians act as defenders of the priesthood. Both orders partake in running academies and libraries dedicated to the Path of Wisdom. The vast majority of scholars, historians, and alchemist come from the ranks of Jeidian orders. Followers of Jeidali act to maintain balance and harmony within the kingdom through dispensing knowledge and unlocking the secrets of the world.
